My paintings are often mixed media with subjects of animals and nature. I am drawn to things that give me positive feelings. I love animals and all the amazing things that nature has to offer. In art, I am intrigued by things that contrast - light against dark, smooth against texture, warm color against cool, and the juxtaposition of organic shapes with geometric. I feel these contrasts are exciting, which I find to be a perfect complement to my subject matter.
